Echo has a free plan and two paid plans, Pro and Max. Pro and Max are auto-renewing subscriptions, each available on a monthly or annual basis.
What each plan includes
| Free | 10 saves a month | Saving, AI summaries and tags, keyword search, Chat with Bookmark, weekly digest |
| Pro | 250 saves a month | Everything in Free, plus Ask AI and web search in Chat with Bookmark |
| Max | 1,500 saves a month | Everything in Pro, with a larger allowance |
A “save” is any item you add to your library — a link, screenshot, image, note or document. When you reach your monthly allowance, saving stops until your allowance resets or you move to a higher plan. Nothing already in your library is deleted or hidden. Unused saves do not roll over. Paid allowances reset on your billing anniversary (annual subscribers receive a monthly allowance, not twelve months at once); the Free allowance resets monthly from the date you started using Echo. Your reset date is shown in the app.
If a paid subscription ends, you move to the Free plan. Your library stays intact and searchable; only new saves are limited to the Free allowance.
Free trial
New subscribers may be offered a free 7-day trial of Pro or Max. Apple offers one trial per Apple ID across both plans. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the trial automatically converts to a paid subscription and your Apple ID is charged for the plan you selected. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Price & renewal
The price of each plan is shown in the app and on the App Store before you purchase, and varies by country and region. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically at the same plan and price for a further period of the same length, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
Managing & cancelling
You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
Refunds & changes
Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple in line with Apple’s policies and your statutory rights. If we change the subscription price, we will give you notice and the change will not take effect until your next renewal; if you do not accept it, you can cancel. We may change what each plan includes, including its allowance; if a change materially reduces a plan you are paying for, we will give you notice and it will not take effect until your next renewal.
